A Day to Celebrate Non-Profit Organizations

Couldn’t be happier to promote National Non-Profit Day. Extremely proud to give back.

Perhaps you didn’t know it, but August 17 is National Non-Profit Day. Bigfish is marking the occasion by mentioning the pro bono work we’ve done on behalf of two very worthy non-profit groups. We’re extremely proud to be able to give back.

Also, a National Non-Profit Day reminder: There are so many non-profit groups out there helping to make our world a better place and improve lives—please consider donating time, money or pro bono work to help them with their missions.

Now, our recent contributions towards non-profit organizations:

Kathryn Jarosz

Bigfish worked with PANDA, the Phoenix Women’s Board of the Steele Children’s Research Center, to create all the marketing assets associated with their annual “Children Helping Children” Fashion Show for the years 2013, 2014, and 2015.

This event is responsible for raising a majority of PANDA’s annual funds, which in turn are used to support research into the cure for various childhood diseases. The assets Bigfish created included event invitations, program booklets, pre-event materials such as flyers, pamphlets, and event iconography. Additionally, Bigfish attended the event every year, donating not only agency time, but funds, to supporting PANDA and its important work.

Bigfish has supported The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s fundraising initiatives for the past six years by providing design services for various events and campaigns, including the Hope Ball, Light the Night and Man & Woman of the Year.

Most recently, we designed collateral to promote their partnership with Discount Tires this summer. We’re thrilled to have continued involvement with an organization that has an immense amount of passion and dedication to research and treatment for blood cancer patients.
